1930s silk velvet cocoon/opera coat crimson red

Incredible 1930s deco era silk velvet opera coat with a cocoon silhouette in a striking shade of crimson/blood red with an oversized petal-like collar and dramatic dolman sleeves. Lined in a pale yellow rayon.
Buttons under the collar and at the waist, the only flaw to note is the button loop on the waist closure has some distress, see photos.
