1940s Chinese silk embroidered slip dress

1940s hand embroidered slip dress made of 100% Chinese silk satin in a beautiful aqua color. Flattering fit with smocking at the bust. In very good condition for its age, some markings that are only detectable in certain light and strap is beginning to tear from the seam on one side. Labeled size 40, fits like a S/M and can tie smaller.
