Hollywood costume Rococo Marie Antoinette style wig

From the estate of Hollywood collector Michael Shaw, this vintage Marie Antoinette style wig was likely used as a costume piece for film or stage, dating to approximately the 1970s. It features a high bouffant and cascading ringlets along the sides and back. The pale silvery white tone mirrors the powdered wigs worn by aristocrats in the 18th-century. Constructed from synthetic fibers, the wig has been fully set and styled with curls secured in place using bobby pins and setting spray to maintain its form under production conditions. Some flyaways, in overall good condition.
