1940s Royal Hawaiian cold rayon 2pc playsuit

Stunning 1940s cold rayon two piece playsuit with a colorful fan & flower novelty print that stands out against the white background. This would have been purchased at the gift shop of the Royal Hawaiian hotel in Honolulu. Shorts have a zipper at the hip and a coconut shell button, top is adjustable around both the neck and back. Both shorts and top are lined in cotton.

There is some staining which I have not attempted to remove. There is also a small hole near the bottom of the right front leg and the fabric at the seam along the rise is starting to tear. All of these issues are fixable and the pattern is so busy they do not visually detract from the piece.
